Thanks for commenting!

I just checked and I have a 2.3 not a 2.1 - don’t think that helps much. Also, I have a PMP certificate if that means much.

Honestly, I haven’t given which university much thought let alone strengths or cultures of schools, so from where I am sitting, all I have is the ranking and the cultural prestige factor.

I need to research more.

Thanks once again!

Thanks for the Kudos :-) would research yourself and then research the programs.

Really understand what type of learning method you want and also the culture, the strengths of the program you need.

It's all about understanding your goal and your preferences and how they would marry with the program

The first step I take with candidates is always introspection, that forms the foundation for everything.

As for school research, I would not overlooked social media. I think that the YouTube channels are very helpful in getting a sense of what and what they have to offer from a program standpoint, and also what feels like home to you, what resonates at an intuitive level.

It makes the differences between programs more apparent.

Get in touch if you have any interest in working with a pro on this.

I actually agree with Farrell about her view. You need to think about other options. You can think in other schools such as Booth, Kellogg, Tuck, Darden, Ross or other great schools. You need to shape clear vision about you goals and then search for your fit. I advise you to walk in MBB and Accenture offices in Dubai and you maybe extend to visit Deloitte office in Abu Dhabi. However, you may want to search for consultants profiles in LinkedIN in the USA as there are different cultures between offices in USA and other offices in Middle East, provided that you want to work in US after your MBA. Some former consultant may offer also great help or reveal more info about your career goals and companies that you want to work for.

Another advice is to work with admission consultant to shape your essay perfectly and you must utilize the optional essay to justify your weak GPA. Many people have your situation.

good luck

I'd apply more broadly, that low GPA is going to be a sticking point for HSW in particular and all schools more generally. These schools generally have applicants who are exceptional and generally have strong GPAs. You also have work experience at an unknown firm, if it were MBB or the family business was large it would be a different story. In light of that, I'd suggest adding some more reasonable reach/target/safety schools. The 770 is string, but that's basically the only thing that stands out.
