Can anyone that had a longish (>7 years) work experience who is currently enrolled in fulltime US B-school speaking about their experience? I chose to spend last 4 years working in various countries for the global experience instead of applying to applying to B-school at that point. In retrospect that seems like a bad move as everyone I speak to now claim that younger is better for US B-schools. I know the overall profile matters but at this point can anyone tell me, is it even worth considering a full time MBA program with 9 years of work experience? If so, what schools are longer work experience friendly?
Thanks in advance.
I haven't matriculated yet so I'm not exactly an ambassador. However, I will have 10 years of work experience upon matriculation in Fall 2012 and I was just accepted to Kellogg.
There's nothing you can do about your age. Just make a compelling case for why you need an MBA and why now is the right time.
