I just gave my gmat focus exam a couple of days ago and scored a 605. I was aiming for top B-schools in US only like NYU stern, USC Marhal, UCLA and so on. I have around 2.75 years of experience working as a data engineer for a reputed IT services company. Along with that I have been a national level athlete and the president of my college in graduation too.
I am also a professional comedian having done more than 100 live shows so far. I also have a background of working with NGOs. What are my chances with the schools I have mentioned above.
Also, are there any other teir 1 schools in the US I can go to with this kind of a background and application.
Posted from my mobile deviceHi @Nachiket18You have a compelling profile with a unique blend of academic achievements, professional experience, and extracurricular involvement. Your GMAT score, while not exceptional, is still competitive. The combination of a strong quantitative background from your data engineering role, leadership experience through your college presidency, and outstanding communication skills demonstrated through your comedy career creates a distinctive candidate profile.
Given your profile, schools like NYU Stern, USC Marshall, and UCLA are ambitious but achievable targets. However, it's essential to consider other top-tier programs that might be a better fit based on your specific interests and career goals.
To provide a more accurate assessment of your chances and develop a tailored application strategy, we recommend a comprehensive evaluation of your profile. This includes an in-depth analysis of your GMAT score, work experience, extracurricular activities, and career goals.
