Dear
olivia1525,
Sometimes “life happens” and we are not able to get the desired results. You should not think about the last attempt and approach the next one with a positive mindset.
How can we help youTo prepare for the GMAT, you need to have a very strategic approach. You can only succeed on it when you have the right combination of knowledge of concepts and application.
A student should know how to apply the learned concepts properly to get a good score. In the actual GMAT exam, tricks and shortcuts tend to fail and only students with a proper approach to questions succeed. This is what we do at
e-GMAT. We teach our students a
foolproof process to solve questions and make them follow the same. This is the reason for our high rate of success.

1) Before you begin your preparation, decide upon your target Quant and Verbal score and formulate a strategy to work towards them.
2) Do not study Quant and Verbal in parallel (if you are studying about 2 or lesser hours in a day). Also, while doing a particular topic in Quant or Verbal do not do multiple topics.
3) Stick to one single course or material. Do not use multiple sources for preparing.
4) While doing that course or material, do not hurry through it. Give required time to understand the concepts.
5) Check each and every solution, even if your answers are correct.
6) Once you complete a particular section, measure your ability to check how much have you learned (click here to know more:

7) Most importantly, learn the processes to solve or approach a particular set of questions. While studying, try be very focused and solve questions using the process until it becomes second nature to you.
8) Attempt mocks only when you know that you have prepared really well and are fully confident.
9) After attempting a mock spend a good 3-4 hours in analyzing the mock.
