Hi devadev,

So, the good news is that you are in a pretty nice spot!

That said, you do need to continue to find your holes and fix those to help improve your score. Thus, engaging in topical practice is a great way to do so. Let's use quant as an example.

For example, let’s say you want to practice Number Properties. You can do so by answering 50 or more questions just from Number Properties: LCM, GCF, units digit patterns, divisibility, remainders, etc.

After each problem set, it's crucial to delve into the questions you answered incorrectly.

For instance, if you stumbled on a remainder question, take a moment to reflect. Was it a careless error? Did you fail to apply the remainder formula correctly? Was there a concept in the question that eluded you? This analysis is key to your learning process.

By carefully analyzing your mistakes, you will be able to fix your weaknesses efficiently and, in turn, improve your GMAT quant skills. Number Properties is just one example; follow this process for all quant, verbal, and DI topics.

Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Good luck!

Checking out some prep journey posts by people who've successfully improved their scores (e.g. in the Share GMAT Experience subforum) may help a bit. You could see which resources people have found success with and any quick tips they may have shared. One thing that may help a bit/you can consider including is working with a study buddy. Someone who is strong in areas you aren't (and vice versa) could be a win-win.

The timeframe is absolutely enough.....IF ...... your prep is highly targeted. That means it needs to focus on practice that hits your gaps precisely. The problem is:

1. Knowing your exact gaps in test taking skills -- this is easier said that than done.

We offer a FREE online diagnostic session LIVE with a GMAT Performance Coach. No cost. No selling. No obligation. We take you through highly diagnostic questions -- ones that isolate your exact gaps in test taking skills and advanced concepts (particularly in quant). You'll have double the focus in your prep going forward, once you know exactly what you need to focus on.

2. Finding practice that targets your exact gaps.

Most practice is indexed by topics and difficulty. Our practice banks are classified by skill categories -- so when provide them to you, following sessions, they are fully targeted to your exact gaps.

Let me know if you're interested in the FREE diagnostic by DM

Hi devadiv,

With just a little over 15 days to go, here are 4 key tips to make the most of this final stretch:

1.Revise your notes; focus on strengthening what you have already covered; now is not the time to chase new material.
2.Stick to official resources and mocks because are the closest in tone, difficulty, and format to the real test.
3.Align your routine; get your body clock in sync with the actual exam slot (sleep, meals, focus hours).
4.Stay positive; confidence and calmness are often underrated but can make a big difference on test day.

For deeper guidance, here’s an 8-minute video we’ve prepared on final-phase strategies:

All the best!

So I took my first official mock today and scored a 595, I have been preparing on and off for a couple of months. My target is a 700+ and my exam is scheduled for the first week of November. Any tips regarding how I can improve my score?
