Hi,

How many questions can one afford to get wrong and still score 40+ in verbal section.Similarly for quant.Is there any correlaction between the number of right answers and scaled scores?

There should be at least a weak correlation between the number of scores answered correctly and the scaled score (consider the extreme cases- 0 correct should be a very low score, all correct should be near the ceiling). However, the difficulty and location of the question are important.
