Hi All, I am plan to take my test in a month. However, I am struggling with verbal. I usually score 8-9/12 on CR and SC each. I have practiced GMAT official. It has been of great help over the last month but I need to improve more. In CR, I make mistakes in "assumption" and "consideration questions whereas mistakes in SC are random. Your feedback and comments will be highly appreciated. TIA.

It is very good that you have identified your specific weakness in CR. I suggest you to go through this Webinar on Pre-Thinking in Critical Reasoning. This will help you in improving your CR by changing the approach of solving questions.
Hi Nadeem, I am afraid that this is generally indicative of lack of conceptual clarity and fundamentals. Which resources (other than official guide) have you been using for your Verbal prep?

I am in a somewhat similar situation as you, as I thought that my mistakes in Sentence Correction were random, as it is my main weakness in the verbal section.
However, I took a verbal CAT using the GMAT Club Test tool and quickly figured out my weaknesses. The tool is great as it gives you a lot of information about your performance and saves full-length practice tests for later.
Take the GMAT Club verbal CAT and let us know what your weaknesses are to get a better, more personalized answer.
