Hi. Not sure if this is the correct forum but I needed some guidance around admission process. I have been accepted for the class matriculating in 2015 but I am yet to receive confirmation about the Track in Luxury Business Mgmt. For me the decision to apply to SDA was significantly influenced by this luxury mgmt. course & I am not sure if I should deposit the confirmation fees. Unfortunately the deadline for providing admission confirmation fees is prior to when they school expects to provide the decision on the LBM course. So I am in quite a dilemma.

I believe the best way to get a better idea for this is to directly call the school and talk to the program director or the person who sent you the email for acceptance. Tell them your problem and request extension of deadline if need be as this decision is important for your career goal I am sure the university will understand I would advise calling them on the phone rather than email. I hope this helps.

I submitted my application on 16th Feb and I have still not received the mail that my application is complete. Even the dashboard on the online application portal shows my application is yet to be marked as complete. Any idea how long is the procedure?

For me, it was in two weeks time (but I applied quiet early in October, 2014), therefore, I suggest to consider the review process to take around (three weeks). If you think that you need a feedback on completion of your application. you may wish to write to (Giulia Rivino giulia.rivino@sdabocconi.it) to understand whether your application is complete and ready for review.

First of all congrats on your admit.
Thanks for your help! I think I will wait for couple of days as I mailed to the admissions team asking for the same thing. Same mail to different people might not be good (:P). It seems they take a long time. How long was it for you - From Application submission to application completion mail to interview mail to interview day and then final decision.?

Below is chronology you are looking for (but consider that I missed some items in my MBA application that admission committee reminded and thereafter I provided the same so this situation added some delays):

1. 20th October, 2014>> Application Submitted
2. 4th November, 2014>>>Interview Invite
3. 21st November, 2014>>>Interview Done
4. 17th December, 2014>>> Final Decision

I guess that it should depend on number of application in pipeline that should be relatively less in October, 2015 than in February, 2015. I suggest to wait for three weeks at least to hear from admission's team and then contact them if you will not get feedback until then. :)

In my case it took them 2 weeks to update my status to "complete" and I live in Milan (thus they should have received the transcript via land mail in a couple of days). SDA Bocconi is a great school but, in my experience, their application procedures need to be improved as they are definitely less smooth than elsewhere.
