Thanks, unfortunately cant get hold of the same one, but the one I have is fairly similar. Is some degree of smudging quite common with the pen?

Not generally - the pen tends to dry up fairly quickly so smudging is not usual but if you have stressed/sweaty hands, then some may happen...

Thanks bb,

No stress really, but I cant get hold of the official pens yet, so it must just be the pens I am using.

I think it is. I've never encountered a "leaky" pen though, so I don't think you have to worry about that.

From what you're saying about the leaking and the smudging, I think you'll find the pens in the test center a little better.

They do smudge a little though at times, particularly if you're left handed.

An issue to be aware of is that sometimes they're dried out. So, it's a good idea to check them before your test begins by using all of them when you set up your pad or at least making a dot with each to confirm that it works.

Thanks for your inputs. Minor point, but I read they give you 2 pens 0.4mm and 0.6mm. Is it just a preference thing or are there any benefits of using one over the other in certain situations?
