Most Schools generally do not care if you take the GMAT more than once, so making more than one Official Score available to Schools will likely not matter. Historically, Schools have typically considered the higher/highest Score when assessing an application, but each Program has its own method for working through the 100s or 1000s of applications that it receives - so an individual Program might go about this process in a slightly different way. In addition, since your GMAT Score is valid for up to 5 years, it doesn't really matter when you make a Score available to a School; if a Program's Representatives think that you're a strong applicant and are thinking about offering you an invite, then the School will almost certainly confirm that your Official Score matches the one(s) that you list in your application - and as long as that's the case, then the 'age' of your Score (or when you made it available) won't matter.
