Major doubt , Help on Subject - modifier , modifier Scenarios
I have two scenarios :
Situation for sentence 1 :
Operator had tried taking approval from council to move the machine to manufacturing site but approval was not given by council. Operator has now decided to move the machine to manufacturing site to avoid machine storage costs. Operator has given a letter to council for information. We(third party) have received the letter describing this situation
Is this correct ? Sentence 1 : We have received the letter submitted by Operator to council , informing the machine mobilization to manufacturing site.
Are the modifiers "informing" and "submitted" modifying the noun letter ?
If the above sentence is not correct , how should the sentence be framed ?
Situation for sentence 2 :
Some application indicating request to retain the whole area of compound has been submitted by Operator along with a jointly approved resolution to place the machinery. We are requesting the operator to share that application.
Is this correct ? Sentence 2 :
Grateful if you can share the application ,submitted with jointly approved resolution , indicating the request to retain the whole compound area.
Are the modifiers "submitted" and "indicating" modifying the noun application .. or should I write
Grateful if you can share the application ,submitted with jointly approved resolution , which indicates the request to retain the whole compound area.
In this sentence can "which" jump over the modifier phrase submitted with jointly approved resolution , to modify application --application which indicates the request to retain the whole compound area.
If the above sentence is not correct , how should the sentence be framed ?
