Hello All,
I gave my GMAT yesterday and score 550, frankly I am quite dissapointed with this score and feel very exhausted. I usually, in all my mocks performed very well in the verbal, but the case was totally different in the main exam. After my quants section, I was not sure whether I would even pass, and I proceeded to my verbal balancing all my thoughts about the score. When I started verbal, it went on quite well I was getting difficult questions and then more difficult questions; got 4 RC's
. I just had 20 minutes left with 22 questions unanswered; so I randomly had to just mark some 10 questions and thus my lost my score completely.
To my suprise..my quant score was better than my verbal score.
Please,tell me if i can get admission into any colleges in India, Singapore or USA.
Retaking GMAT, is in my mind but not any where close; so please tellme about the Universities I can apply now.
Academics: 75% BTECH
WORK EXPERIENCE : 2 years from Software Giant.

My friend, just keep on working on that GMAT!!! And don't worry about it.. plenty of folks start off with a 550, to get a 700 by the third time around
(although I hope in your case, it will only take two)…

Yup - keep your focus and crush that GMAT. It's a part of your application you really have a good degree of objective control over. As Jon said, a significant improvement isn't uncommon and some schools really view that journey favorably. It shows dedication and commitment - two great traits!
