Greetings,

Considering the situation with COVID-19 (and the "New rules" situation) I reached out the commission and asked whether they will revisit applicants from previous rounds.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? Do you have any experience or advice?
Is the appeal process difficult or they just "re-review the documentation"?

Much appreciated to everybody!

Hi Tridentway!

Look, this is an unprecedented time! To me, it sounds like the door is open here. Rather than pondering how much the school means it, if I were you, I would spending my time mounting my case for an appeal (without being overwhelming or annoying). Be polite, open, and thoughtful and really put some effort into showing why you are still so committed to that program and what (positive) updates you can add to your candidacy. If you are taking the trouble to write here and ask, it seems like you really feel strongly about this program - worth a try, as long as you do it with care!! If it doesn't work out, you can then go and re-evaluate your options... Best of luck!

YOu have nothing to lose by appealing. YOu have already paid application fee, and are anyway rejected by them once. If you appleal, there might be something for you. If you dont, you have lost it anyway.
