Hello!

I just did my first GMAT focus test (never tried the old GMAT). But i don’t really think my score will increase that much if I take a second test. Please help, do you think I have any chance?

GMAT Focus score: 585 (DI 72, QR 82 and V 80).
Nationality: Indonesia
Gender: Female

Undergraduate study: Architecture with 3.3 GPA
Extracurricular: I was in the adventure & outdoor activity club which had a volunteering activity. I also joined a joint studio research held in my campus with 2 international universities.

Work: 5.5 years in one of Indonesia’s biggest bank.
I’m one of my office’s high potential employee and received full sponsor from my office for post graduate study. For 4 years I was in the procurement and fixed assets division, and for 1 year I was assigned as the CEO’s executive assistant. Right now, I’m in special project team for our subsidiary company transformation.

I’m trying to apply to UCLA, Duke Fuqua, NYU and Michigan Ross


I know my score is below both the average score and middle-80, but should I still try for round 2 (especially for UCLA)? I’ve heard that R3 is more competitive, and International student would be better off applying for R2
