Hi tinychristine
Your 2 scores are almost identical and I see a scope of improvements in them.
You may plan for retaking GMAT/GRE to improve your chances of admit in your dream b-schools.
bb has already referred to decision maker for your query about specific b-school admissions.

I got 620 on 03/10/2021 and 600 on 03/28/2021. Should I cancel 600?

3/10/21
IR 5 (50 percentile)
Quant 48 (67 percentile)
Verbal 27 (46 percentile)
Total 620 (62 percentile)

3/28/2021

IR 8 (91 percentile)
Quant 47 (60 percentile)
Verbal 27 (46 percentile)
Total 600 (54 percentile)

I wasn't sure if I should be canceling my second score, because my second score is almost identical to my first score, and I liked my IR score.

I am trying to go to UCLA Anderson Full Time... but now I am rethinking that I should apply to FEMBA... help!!!

Might be worth trying to improve your Verbal. Your Quant seems to be a consistent Q47-48 level.

Hi tinychristine,

Business Schools generally do not care if you have more than one GMAT Score in your file. That having been said, since many Business Schools have publicly stated that they do not use an applicant's IR score when evaluating an application, there is no real 'benefit' to having that 600 on file. As such, the best move would likely be to 'cancel' it.

While a 620/Q48 is a solid Score - and it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School - that result would likely be at the lower-end of the range for most Top Programs (including UCLA). Since you have a specific Program in mind, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/ask-admissio ... tants-124/

If you do choose to retest, then before I can offer you any advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied in total? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What "brands" of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) What specific application deadlines are you facing?

If you took either of your Official GMATs at a Test Center, then you might also choose to purchase the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.

Rich

Hi tinychristine,

I do think it would make sense to cancel your 600. However, given where you'd like to apply, do you plan to give the GMAT one more shot?
