Hi,
I have about 7 years experience (executive level, non managerial) in Financial Planning and analysis across industries and have a bachelor's in commerce from India. I am a 31 year old woman, and wondering if I will be too old for B school.
Reason for pursuing Masters :
1. I feel handicapped for growth in my current sector as everyone has a CA or CPA or MBA.
2. I want to move from Financial Planning to a more business focussed function. Budgeting and planning is seen as a cost function and the growth in this domain is very slow. I don't want to entirely begin from scratch in a new sphere of work but somewhere where my finance experience can be put to use. I feel my communicative skills are not put to use adequately in finance and need to move to a role like marketing or business development.
What programs and schools are suitable for me ?
GMAT I have just begun preparing for GMAT and hope to take it in December

subaru2019, MBA after 30 can indeed be tricky.
That being said, you will be definitely a pretty good fit for the IIM one year programs in India.
You can also check other one year MBA programs out there.
Some views on why not to do an MBA too, just to balance the perspective here.
