In case I'm pretty sure that let's say the 2nd answer is correct, does it make sense to still read the remaining answers, just to be sure there is no better answer or would it be a waste of time?

You MUST always read ALL the answer choices.
Per OG, "Read all the answer choices carefully. Do not assume that a given answer is the best without first reading all the choices."
This is especially true for SC and CR. But as a matter of principle, you should always read all the answer choices.
This is also true for Quant to make sure that you answered the correct question (i.e. not solved for another variable or another set of values etc.).
