Hi
friskymarkets,
Congrats on a fantastic official score! Even coming from a competitive demographic that score will put you right in line for those schools.
I do not see the major downside to taking the exam again, particularly since you are not applying this year. How did you feel about the official test, especially when compared to your two practice exams? Was it harder than you expected? Did you feel you left points on the table? Did you prepare much going into this exam or do you feel you could put in some time to give yourself a shot at a higher score?
You can always get in touch with the school's admissions/financial aid offices and ask directly. They may not be able to give you any guarantee but they can probably provide you with some general parameters of median/mean GMAT scores based on their past awards.
When you do end up applying, feel free to reach out to us at
Admissionado. We work with plenty of male Indian engineers at investment banks so we have great strategies to help you differentiate yourself! Like you said, it's quite common these days.
