Hello,
I have recently given the GMAT for the third time, but unfortunately I was unable to cross the 700 barrier. Below are my scores of all my GMAT attempts
GMAT1 - 620 Q46 V30 IR6 AWA4 , Nov 2012
GMAT2 - 650 Q49 V28 IR6 AWA5 , Apr 2014
GMAT3 - 680 Q50 V31 IR8 , Jul 2014What frustrates me is that I was scoring consistently well in my practice tests. I have given
MGMAT, KAPLAN practice tests, which I had also given during my previous 2 attempts. I scored an average 720 in the 4 KAPLAN tests, and and average of 680 in
MGMAT. But since I had given these tests in my previous attempts also, for the third time I enrolled in Veritas Prep. I scored an average of 720 in the Veritas as well, hence I was confident that the third time would be a charm and I will be able to score 720.
But the score line does not show so

, which makes me very sad. As can be seen my nemesis is Verbal. For my third attempt I gave a month's time to improve on my verbal (majority time given to SC). But i guess that strategy did not work on the final day. There is no way for me to analyze which section in Verbal I am bad at.
I am targeting the top 20 B-schools such as Chicago, Ross, Yale etc and I know that my below average score will be a significant disadvantage while applying in such schools.
I am an Indian with a work ex of 6yrs in the top IT Company in India. I have 3 years of onsite experience and have handled multiple large scale projects. My GPA in UnderGrad was 3.9/4.0.
My question is should I consider giving the GMAT one final time or should I start working on my applications and essays and apply for the same colleges as mentioned above.
Thanks
