Hi!

I took my first exam today and scored a 690. V44, Q40 and IR:6.

I'm worried about the big discrepancy between verbal and quant. When I was studying I was scoring Q44 at the highest, so I'm not sure it would be worth it.

I'm planning to apply to schools in Europe like IE, IESE, ESADE, and Bocconi.

Hi! Yes, I would retake. A 40 Quant is on the low end, and it sounds like you can score significantly higher (I think a 44 vs 40 is a big enough difference). Plus, schools always consider your highest score so retaking never hurts. While your overall score is solid and in range for those schools, I would definitely give it another shot. A higher score would improve your chances.

Best of luck!

I know it's no fun, but I hope it's well worth the effort! :-)
