Hi All,
I just got my GMATOnline score of 730. While I am not shocked - I was expecting anywhere in the range of 730-770, I do think I can do better.
Some considerations:
- I took 11 mock tests out of which in Verbal I score more than 39 in 8 of them. So this makes me feel that something went wrong in verbal on the day of the test and I can definitely do better. On the flipside, in Quant, Scored 50 or higher in 3 mock tests out of 11. So my quant score was definitely on the higher side based on mocks.
- My overall mock test median was 740, Median of last 4 mocks was 750. Highest score in a mock was 770.
- My target schools: HBS, Stanford, MIT, LBS, Oxford (Said)
- I am a male Indian Software Engineer, definitely an over-represented pool. That said, did my undergrad in the US and have been working there, so not sure if I will be perceived/counted separate from Indians applying from India.
Trying to decide if I should retake - I am applying this year in Round 2, so retaking will have to be within the next few weeks and will take time away from other aspects of my application. Would love to hear any thoughts and views on this!
