Hi GautamKhanduja.

The GMAT focus edition is expected be released in the fourth quarter of this year. So, if you want to be done with the GMAT before then, you should prepare for and take the current version of the GMAT.

Hi GautamKhanduja,

We last discussed your studies after you took your Official attempt back in December. Based on those results, while your overall SC skills could certainly use some improvement (as you were spending too much time on those prompts), you also had a big opportunity to pick up points in RC. If your Score Goal is still 710+, then you're closer to that result that you probably realize. The questions now are really about how much your GMAT skills may have 'faded' over the last 3 months - and if you're a flexible-enough thinker to make the necessary changes to how you 'see' (and respond to) the Verbal section. You could potentially hit your Goal with another 1-1.5 months of consistent, guided study - so waiting that long to take the new GMAT Focus Edition doesn't make much sense. If you'd like to discuss how best to proceed with your studies, then you can feel free to PM or email me.

Rich
