ps. I found this article on P&Q about the IR section: https://poetsandquants.com/2014/10/09/b- ... r-section/

I understand your point but I also value this article.
Generally speaking, back in school/uni I would have studied for it, but being now in the work environment with limited amount of time I need to prioritize.

I understand 10 points more in quant/verb are better than look at IR so here it goes... won't care and see what I can pull of exam day! :)

I didn't really devote any particular time during my study sessions to the IR section, but I completed the sections each time I took a practice exam and then simply reviewed my incorrect answers afterwards. I felt that was enough to get a 6+ score on IR. I worked while I studied for the GMAT too, and I don't feel it will hurt you to complete the sections each time you take a practice test. But good luck to you, sir!

I plan to do the same actually. I just thought this was not enough.

If this is enought to get a 6 more than fine with me!

It actually stengthens your data analysis skill that will come as an integral part of your work field mostly in the soon to come future. And more importantly, it is one of the criterion to stand out of the crowd. A good college will definitely notice you.
