Hi,
I have got an admit in Simon Business school and Fisher School of business. Both with 50% scholarships. Which one should I select and what should be the parameters considering that I'm planning to settle in India after OPT?

Posted from my mobile device

Does it make sense for you to go to school and pay Instead of getting a degree in India?

Sorry this is an obvious question. None Indian here so wondering what’s the gameplay

I believe what the OP meant was that they will be pursuing a degree full-time from the US. They will also utilize the three years of OPT that is offered with a STEM MBA, before returning to India once the OPT expires.

On a lighter note - many students (including me) start with this mindset, only to find themselves caught up in the H-1B race later on (is what my friends and connections have me believed), but not us, hopefully! 👀

Got it. Thank you

I think that perspective is practical and makes sense. From experience, I can say that once you spend two years in school and then another two or three years settled in, it’s a disruption even if you’re moving back to your home country. Your network, your friends, your home and your favorite restaurant and your significant other Are all there and you would have to leave them …. So many people end up settling.
