I also got an email today ding on LGO, still being considered for Sloan. I expect this was the basic form email from Don alluding to still being considered for Sloan until the Sloan April 1 notification date. However, I would have also have expected to hear some guidance from Sloan TODAY as to my status. If all other Sloan R2 applicants are hearing today about receiving an interview invite versus rejection, I thought that would also include and apply to the LGO rejects.

Would they actually conduct the Sloan R2 interviews, see how many spots remain, and THEN pull from the remaining group of LGO-rejects? That doesn't make sense to me-I'd imagine they would want to evaluate everyone in R2 concurrently.

To be admitted to Sloan, I'd have to interview in March. Not sure how long they'll keep stringing us along.

Congrats all who got invite!

Looks like it's very hard to get in to LGO as an international applicant unless you're legally authorized to work in US or in the countries where the partner companies have facilities?
Does that mean I shouldn't apply next year?

Has anyone gotten an interview invite from Sloan?

From what I've read on the 2012 thread, dinged LGO applicants can be admitted to Sloan without an addition interview and also be invited for a second interview through Sloan.

I'm not really sure. I didn't read anything about that. I heard that last year Sloan did not take 1 waitlister. They had a yield that was much hirer than expected. I think they ended up encouraging the waitlisters to apply again.

Interviewfest was a tease anyways. I would have rather not had the interview, it just showed me how much awesome stuff I will be missing out on.
