Hi Everyone,
I am 26 year old Indian male working as a Senior Quality Analyst in an IT Firm. By the time I matriculate I will have 2.10+ years of Experience.
GMAT score 640(Q47, V31) AWA : 5.5/6
Postgraduation: MSc in Software Engineering, UK
Graduation : 70% (B.Tech in Software Engineering)
12th : 81% Central board of Secondary Education.
10th : 88% Central Board of Secondary Education.
Some of my profile highlights
1. Double promotion to a Senior position within a span of 2 years.
2. Organized cultural and technical fest during graduation.
3. Active volunteer at the Indian Red Cross Society for Blood Donation.
4. Active volunteer at the Corporate Social Responsibility group at my workplace.
5. 2 times National Level Basketball player.
6. Won various cultural and sports events during graduation.
7. Active sportsperson throughout my Education in school and college.
I really wish to get into Penn State university (Smeal School). Please evaluate my chances of getting through.
Also, it would be great if someone could evaluate my chances of getting into the following schools as well.
1. University of Texas at Dallas
2. Tippie College of Business
3. Temple University-Fox school of Business
4. University of South Carolina (Moore School)
5. Brigham Young University

Hi there,
Thanks for posting. I like your promotions and volunteering and activities. Your work experience sounds fairly short (?) compared with some applicants, but I think your school list is reasonable. It is never a 'sure thing' as the b-school process is holistic and they'll look at everything you share, and areas like your essays and interview can really make an impact since you're showing more about who you are as a person and what you'll bring to the class. Of course you can view the class profiles as well and see how you compare with the recent class in terms of stats just for a rough indicator as well. Good luck and keep us posted on q's!
