Chose A, and I, unfortunately, cannot agree with OA in this case. Below is my back-up for the answer choice.
"None" stands for N in the "SANAM" acronym, which is the acronym that behaves itself - in terms of subject/verb agreement - differently based on what is the quantity of the adjacent noun.
Apparently, in this example "none" refers to "numbers", not a single version of the noun. Hence, here the whole "none..." expression should be followed by a plural verb. Option E clearly contains the implied mistake of singularity.
Options B, C and D are easily discarded due to the presence of other issues with these sentences.
Clearly, A is the only remaining contender.
Correct me if I am wrong.

So far, none of the numbers we have tried have gotten us in touch with the correct James Sanders.

Subject followed by nor or none is singular...hence check the verb form has/have...has is the correct verb form

A. none of the numbers we have tried have gotten us

B.none of the numbers we have tried got us

C.one the numbers we have tried has not gotten us...changes meaning

D.nothing out of the numbers we tried have got us...changes meaning

E.none of the numbers we have tried hasgotten us...Correct option

C.one the numbers we have tried has not gotten us (one .. has not is wrong)

D.nothing out of the numbers we tried have got us (changes meaning and is illogical)

E.none of the numbers we have tried has gotten us (is the correct one)
