Speaker: The great majority of people in the United States have access to the best medical care available anywhere in the world.
Objector: There are thousands of poor in this country who cannat afford to pay to see a doctor.

A possible objection to the speaker's comments would be to point to the existence of

(A) a country which has more medical assistants than the United States
(B) a nation where medical care is provided free of charge by the government
(C) a country in which the people are given better medical care than Americans
(D) government hearings in the United States on the problems poor people have getting medical care
(E) a country which has a higher hospital bed per person ratio than the United States

What is the source? It's a strange question; the Objector's reply is irrelevant to the eventual question, so there's no reason to even read it. We also don't have a single fact in the stem, so there are no premises - we aren't weakening an argument, say, because there is no argument. We just have a claim from the Speaker, that the majority of Americans can access the best medical care in the world. We could contradict that claim by pointing out that American medical care isn't very good, or that the majority of Americans can't access good care, or that another country has better medical care than America, which is what answer C does.
