This answer choice draws a grammatically correct comparison between two nouns (Sports equipment and other consumer products) by using a Like Comparative correctly.


B. Like other consumer products are, sports equipment is experiencing a drastic decrease in sales

Incorrect.

This answer choice is grammatically incorrect. The like section should not include a conjugated verb. In this answer choice, however, the like section includes a conjugated verb (Like other consumer products are).

What helps us identify this question as a Comparative question as well as identify the mistake is the following Stop Sign:
