Hi,
I have just received an acceptance letter from the University of St. Gallen for the MBF program; however, I recently read the thread about the terrible job prospects for non-EU students because of which I am in a dilemma.

I have also been accepted into the corporate finance and investment program of EDHEC and financial markets and investments program of SKEMA.

I am really really confused, please help me decide where I should go.

Ranking wise St. Gallen is ahead of EDHEC and SKEMA. Job prospectus wise you have to work hard where ever u studied. Especially in France, you have to know the French language.

Not sure I would trust that what goes for SKEMA goes for EDHEC necessarily; for all schools, study the employment reports and set up calls with career services. Cold email alumni from Linked In. agree that learning/knowing French is vital.

My only hesitation is regarding job prospects. I recently spoke to the director of SKEMA Business school and he told me that it is quite difficult for foreign students to land a job in France. Though EDHEC Master in Finance program is better according to the Ft ranking, the main reason I am opting for masters abroad is for a job- thus, his remark has made me reconsider my options.

Thank you for the responses.

I think I might just go for St. Gallen because I have spoken to alumni from all the three universities since then, and I have come to a conclusion that St. Gallen has better prospects than the other two universities.
