Thanks Emman

Could you provide me with an example question on the SD, similar to what GMAT test (so that I can get a gist, a overall idea) to what limit does this go. This will help me make a decision on 'Should I eliminate studying for the SD' and concentrate on other stuff.

Regards

1. There are 2 sets:

A = {100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106}

B = {97, 99, 101, 103, 105, 107, 109}

Standard deviation is larger for

A. set A

B. set B

C. they are equal

D. etc. etc.

2. Range of the set = 0. What is the standard deviation of this same set?

3. S.d. of the set = 0. What is the range of this same set?
