Too bad you couldn't make it for R2. Maybe you can try for R3.
I saw in another thread that many others almost dropped out and some did. Maybe they did the right thing. I think I just wasted 250 bucks of my hard-earned money..
I was talking to a friend who finished from Kellogg a couple of years back. He applied to Stanford as well, but did not get in. He had a great profile (iit + engg 5 years + marketing 2 years + tons of extracs), but his GPA was a little low (3.0), so they rejected him. His cousin, a girl with one year work-ex, got in though! Looks like Stanford very much likes younger candidates.

The wait for Stanford's decision is killing me. Especially after being WL at Wharton. W's indecision on my application really put a dent in my confidence about getting in this year.

Good luck. You background seems really solid. How did you feel about your essays and interview?
I think my essays were good, but by the time I started working on Stanford I was worn down by the process. I hope my fatigue didn't show through in my essays but I fear they did.
