Any idea when will the waitlist start having some movement....

I am a round one waitlist candidate and received an invite to interview last week. I also visited the school last week and saw quite a few interviewees (however some were round 3 interviewees). I'm assuming they sent out a batch of invites after the deposit deadline. I hope that helps, and good luck to everyone!

It seems that waitlisted applicants who have not received interview invite are out of the game now.
Congrats on the interview invite. What did you specifically do after being waitlisted.

Thanks. I would say waitlisted candidates are definitely not out of the game just yet. I think the process is still pretty fluid. I sent the adcom one update about my current job about a month after being waitlisted. Hope this helps.

I’ve found great help in reading GmatClub over the app process, so I feel like it's only right that I contribute something to the forum. I was a round 1 applicant, was waitlisted without interview in January, invited to interview in April, and then accepted in May.

While on waitlist, I showed stern that it was my #1 school. I also sent in an update on some volunteer work I did and a letter from a manager at my company who I worked on a project with describing my role. So there is hope for you waitlisters as long as you show them your genuine interest.

Thanks for the tips! How long did it take for you to hear after the interview? I have been anxiously checking my email for the past 10 days. I know they say you'll hear within three weeks, but I was hoping it would be at the shorter end of that timeframe given how late it is in the game.

I am a R1 applicant and was waitlisted without an interview at Stern. I got an admit from Ross. I had submitted few essays to Stern but haven;t received any feedback. Should I send an email to the adcom committee asking for updates or should I just wait? Ross Vs Stern what do you guys think? My main area of focus is entrepreneurship
