I'm going to apply for the Msc in finance & accounting starting fall 2013 and I'm currently not studying at SSE. The admission office of SSE have confirmed that students enrolled at any of their bachelor programs will no longer be guaranteed a slot at one of the master programs. However, SSE will keep a number of slots reserved for their own students. Does anybody know the number of these reserved slots? I couldn't find any information regarding this on their website and I haven't been able to contact their admission office for various reasons so I thought I'd ask here.
I will also apply for next fall 2013. What is your profile?
I have relative low GPA, about 50% A+Bs
Two semester abroad at recognized universities. At one school with average grades and the other with straight A:s.
As I will apply directly after my bachelor, my work experience is limited.
I asses my chances of getting accepted as fairly slim. I will probably need to attain a GMAT result of 670-680 to be considered and 700+ to be safe.
Any information whether the removal of slots for sse students will affect the admission? Should at least lower the GMAT-average.
