Hi,
I just took the GMAT for the first time last week and the result was 650, which seems to be insufficient to get into top 10 B-schools. Therefore, I plan to retake the exam probably within the next 2-3 months. My current score breakdown is as follows:
Quant: 48 (74th percentile)
Verbal: 30 (58th percentile)
Integrated Reasoning: 8 (92nd percentile)
AWA: 6 (92nd percentile)
Overall: 650 (77th percentile)
Up to now, I have already read/skimmed through many materials including:
Books
1. 10 books from Manhattan GMAT set
Practice
1. Official Guide (Books)
2. Official Guide Quant (Books)
3. Official Guide Verbal (Books)
4. Manhattan CATs (6 tests)
5. GMAT Prep CATs (2 tests)
6. GMAT Prep free practice questions
Video (just bought after the first exam; still not utilized)
1. Magoosh Premium
With all of these resources, can you please recommend what I should do in the next 2-3 months? I aim to get 700+ scores. My current plan is to watch all the Magoosh videos but I am not sure whether I can improve verbal score. I saw many people recommending E-Gmat, do you think that E-Gmat verbal online videos will add value to my existing resource pools?

Hey there,
I would strongly recommend that you sign up for e-gmat. I took their Verbal Live Online course and it definitely helped me improve my performance on the verbal section. I actually got a very similar score as you on my second attempt (650, Q48, V31). After that I simply practiced quant questions through gmatclub quizzes (you get access to gmatclub tests and quizzes when you sign up for the e-gmat course!) and reviewed all my incorrect answers on all practice tests/official material. I was very relaxed before my third attempt and thankfully I scored a 700 with very minimal new practice. I just made sure I reviewed all incorrect problems thoroughly and that I had all the basics down. I hope this helps you with your decision!
