Hi Mike/Kevin,
I have been trying to work over idioms ,but it gets too difficult to keep each and every Idioms in mind.
Apart from cramming I don't see any other option , even that's too difficult.
Kindly help me to discover on how to deal with Idioms and what approach should be followed in order to get hold of them.
Thanks
Dear
kanigmat011,
I'm happy to respond.
First of all, I want to recommend
Magoosh's free idiom flashcards:
https://gmat.magoosh.com/flashcards/idiomsIf you drill these cards every day, it will help you store the information in long term memory.
More important, my friend, you need to
READ. Over and above any GMAT-specific practice, you need to read at least an hour a day. See this blog for more information:
https://magoosh.com/gmat/2014/how-to-imp ... bal-score/You see, as long as the idioms are a collection of individual factoids in isolation, it will be very hard to remember them. You need to do the hard work of reading, every single day, so that you see the idioms in context and develop a feel for them.
Does all this make sense?
Mike
