At this stage there isn't much time to do things differently. I would have taken the GMATPrep tests earlier, both of them and then practiced with the pool of questions in the GMATPrep database. The Exam Pack 1 tests could be used closer to the exam to assess and tweak your preparation.

Your score suggests that focusing on verbal would give you the best return. You mentioned that the verbal questions you encountered in your previous CATs were "different", precisely for this reason one should focus on the official GMAT questions. The GMAT writers have a certain style and way of testing ideas and the earlier you get a sense of that, the better you will do on the exam.

Here is a link on gmatclub that posts the entire verbal question database from GMATPrep: all-gmatprep-questions-quant-verbal-187679.html

Cheers,
Dabral

Hi Dabral,

I understand what you are saying. But what would you recommend now. I am 10 days away from my actual GMAT.
Should I be delaying the exam? (My last resort). I must achieve my target of a 720. I know a lot more things matter other than just the GMAT but still.

Let me know.

Thank you.

Hi vkarmwar,

You should certainly plan to take the GMAT as scheduled. From your self-assessment, you spotted a bunch of questions that you should have gotten correct, but didn't. THOSE questions represent your missing points (and you don't even have to get all of those questions correct to hit your score goal). With the remaining time that you have, you should NOT be trying to 'cram' too much practice in - you already know everything that you need to know. Right now, your focus should be on your 'precision' - staying calm, taking good notes and keeping the little mistakes from happening.

Hi,

I just took my GMAT and scored 700 Q50 V34.
I couldn't hit the figure of 720 but yeah.

I am not sure about retaking the GMAT since I am doing this for only one college, ISB Hyderabad.
I will apply this year and see what happens.

I wish to thank you guys a lot for your continuous support and guidance.

Thanks a lot.

Hi vkarmwar,

First off, a 700/Q50 is an outstanding score (it's just shy of the 90th percentile overall), so it could be enough to get you into ISB Hyderabad. Since you know exactly what School you want to apply to, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of them here:
