All,
I have taken the GMAT twice now. On the first attempt I scored a 640 Q42 V36 and knew I would need another go at the test. I finished my retake this past Saturday and scored a 680 Q47 V36.I am taking the test again because I feel my quant may hold me back for my target schools. I am not planning to apply to any top 5 US program but my reach schools are Ross and INSEAD. I have 6-7 years of post undergraduate WE and 3 years of WE during college when I sold cars, which I count as WE because I work for an automotive manufacture, however, now in the Ivory Tower and not on the sales floor.
However, not to get too off topic, my prep for the first two attempts included
MGMAT, OG guides,
Magoosh, and GMAT Prep tests. Now, I am not certain where to turn. I know I need to focus on an
error log to get my Q from a 47 to a 50+, but what are the specific programs that others would recommend that I need to focus on to get to that next level? I was thinking about going through the OG Quant Guide, re-read the
MGMAT SC and RC, and sign up for the economist for an adaptive GMAT prep tool.
Any thoughts? Also, what about the prep tests? I have exhausted the GMAT Prep tests and stated to see repeat questions.
Thank you for all advice.
