Hello
Bunuel,
GMATNinja ,
bb I have started my preparation 3 months earlier (self-studying consistently 2-3 hrs per day apart from my job hours). Following are the scores & accuracy of questions for the mocks I have given so far:
Gmat Mock #1 Manhattan Mock #1 Manhattan Mock #2 Gmat Mock #3 Manhattan Mock #3 Gmat Mock #4(30/07/2022)
Quant Q48 Q43 Q42 Q49 Q37 Q51
Verbal V24 V31 V28 V32 V31 V30
Overall 590 600 580 670 570 680
SC Accuracy 33% 50% 43% 62% 50% 69%
CR Accuracy 44% 60% 40% 11% 30% 29%
RC Accuracy 54% 50% 58% 79% 67% 62%
I have not been practicing Quant for a month now and have focused on improving my RC, SC & CR. While I have realized that I need to focus on reducing the silly errors in the exams for SC, for CR based questions, I am at a loss- I feel that my fundamentals might need strengthening and this might lead to me to upper 30s score in Verbal section. In terms of RC- I'm an avid reader and usually take 5-6 mins for 3Qs and 8mins for 700+level 4Q problems in exam. I tend to go wrong on inference based questions in RC and have a bit of difficulty in Social Science / Humanities (which I'm religiously practicing).
Seeking your opinion as to what I can do at this stage (I haven't yet booked the date but I'm planning to give by late Aug).
