Greetings all.
I am curious as to opinions on managing study time between verbal and math. I am using the following materials to study for the exam:
Kaplan GMAT prep 2005
Kaplan GMAT CD-ROM
Kaplan Verbal workbook
Kaplan GMAT/GRE math workbook
OG
Do you folks recommend that study time should alternate between verbal and math, or should I focus on one aspect in its entirety, then move on to the next? eg,
OG Verbal section
Kaplan Verbal section
CDROM Verbal sessions and practice tests
Kaplan Verbal workbook
OG math
Kaplan math section
CDROM math sessions and practice tests
Kaplan math workbook
As indicated by my initial diagnostic tests, my weaknesses are primarily in problem solving (math concepts; probability, permutations, geometric principals) that I've long forgotten, and sentence correction.
Additional information that may assist in giving informed advice:
My "pre studying" kaplan test scored a 660, which is well below my goal score.
I plan to study for 2 months, 3 hours each day M-F, 4 hours each day S-S
Thanks so much for your valuable insight.
Michael
