Hi,
- I am an Indian male candidate having a GMAT score of 700 (V - 35, Q - 50, but IR resulted in 0%ile, I'm not sure what went wrong as last 2 attempts were at 70%ile).
- I have 3+ years of work ex in India's Widest Plate Mill in Jindal Steel and Power (since 2019). I was deployed as the youngest senior shift in-charge of mechanical maintenance, and was responsible for improving and maintaining equipment healthiness, reliability, availability and production capabilities of different heavy engineering equipments like Furnace and Rolling mills. Have led a few impactful projects to improve equipment reliability and throughput. Was also honoured as "Executive of the Month of July 2022 for the same.
- My graduation score(Mechanical Engineering) is 83.08% (Passed out 2019). I obtained my Six Sigma Green Belt certification in my Undergrad and delivered an impactful defect eliminating Six Sigma project in my final semester, in India's 2nd largest commercial vehicle manufacturing company (Ashok Leyland). Also, did a couple of more internship based projects on process optimiszation and R&D. Was also briefly involved as a Vehicle Dynamics engineer in the university team participating in Shell Eco-Marathon Asia.
- Class 12th is 79.08%(passed out 2015).
- Class 10th is 9.8 cgpa (passed out 2013).
- I have a Six sigma Green belt certification and impactful projects to show. Kindly refer to my LinkedIn, evaluate my profile, and kindly suggest suitable schools to target. I'm highly confused as to which schools to apply. There's so much data on the web, that I don't know where to begin with. I do not have any country restrictions. My priority is, most ease of getting a competent job and settling in whichever country I go to.
I have some volunteering experience with Autistic and Down syndrome kids, while helping my Mother to transform a basic care centre into a fully functional school for children with special needs. Although I'd give almost all of the credits to my mother(a child psychologist with a master's degree in psychology), I did have some hands on experience with the struggles of such children (not sure if it will carry decent weight in my applications).
I have already applied to ISB, and I'm also interested in BITSOM in India. Currently I'm working on Rotman, INSEAD, LBS and NUS applications. My interested domain will be consulting/operations.
Kindly suggest me suitable list of dream and safe schools to apply globally,and I'd greatly appreciate any other useful information/guidance/recommendations.

Usually people start shortlisting their MBA programs a bit earlier, even before they embark on the GMAT Prep so they have an idea where they are aiming and what score they need. I am sure you have looked around for the average GMAT Scores.
You can start at a few spots researching your Bschool Options:
As to whether you are late, you are not late at all for R2.
R1 is late however but it is not a show stopper. I would not rush your apps.

Hi rohansil hope this finds you well
Your IR score is a superfluous (trouble) spot in an otherwise decent profile, and schools such as INSEAD and LBS will take note of that. Even with a Q50, an overall GMAT of 700 may not do much to help your candidacy if you apply to ultra-competitive schools. I suggest you consider retaking your GMAT and broaden your target list to include NTU, IESE, IIM B, and C (IIMs as backup). If you can fetch a 740+, you should be able to seriously consider many more good schools from the US (20-35 range) and Canada and improve your chances for the ones currently on your list.
Your work with special needs children looks good on paper, but you should think about how you could integrate your interests with your goals/vision in the long term. That surely would help you stand out.
