Hi Everyone,

I'm planning to give GMAT but there are some questions for which I would require your honest opinion.

1) Got 8.4 CGPA in 10th grade and failed in 12th grade, gave it again and got 75%.
2) I failed in my engineering 2nd year again, cleared everything and got 55% in the end.
3) After graduating, I have been working in an MNC and received multiple promotions since joining (not that it matters)

Should i even try to give a GMAT exam? Is my profile worth getting selected at a good business school?

I want to pursue an MBA because business is something that i find interesting (since i come from a business family) and maybe in future i want to start my own venture.

Your suggestion would be much appreciated! I don't want you to sugarcoat your responses. :)

Why not? Anyone can take a GMAT exam who has 14 years of age required ID. You will get admission in B-School with a good GMAT score, great essays, and strong recommendations. All the best.

Your 10th and 12th do not matter now.

Your Engineering GPA is on the lower side, you will need a decent GMAT to cover up for it.

Your MNC experience with promotions is a plus.

You should aim for 730+ score to get into top 20 b-schools.

Also, there would be plenty good b schools to join even with a 700 score option especially if you are looking at entrepreneurship.
