Hi Sai:
Welcome to the GMAT Club and thanks for posting and allowing us to be a part of your journey.
Here are my thoughts on the subject:
1. One must build a profile with an end game in mind. As you begin to wonder what adds value to your profile, ask yourself - "What am I building this profile for?"
2. The answer to that question will help you choose between working in India or working abroad.
3. After that is clear, you can think about the MBA

Cheers
In my case, given my post MBA goal(end game) is product management, program management sounds like a logical step to make. Based on your suggestion, I am leaning towards Program Manager in India. I keep hearing from other MBA aspirants that international experience weighs more in the profile. So I am confused between the two choices.
Thank you for the suggestion

Hi,

I am currently working in India for a top IT tech corp in the world as a software developer for 3.5 years. I am ambitious of getting an MBA from the top 10 MBA tier colleges. My post MBA goal is to move into product management. I have a choice to make in my career now to move either as a Program Manager in India or as a software engineer in US. Which will add more value to my profile? Is it the program management, where I interact with the business and engineering teams to solve problems, drive process and create impact; or is it the international exposure that I get by working in US? Please provide your valuable suggestion :) .

Thanks & Regards,
Sai

Hi,

Have you thought of going to US on your assignment and pursuing part time MBA from a premium b-school? Maybe an area to explore.

Good luck

Forgot to mention that I want to do only full-time MBA. I am not interested in part-time. Thank you for the reply.

Thanks for your note. Can you share your GMAT score? Have you got your profile evaluated for top 10 b-schools?
