n already has factors 2 and \(3^2\). For n to have a factor of \(12 = 2^2*3\), we need another multiple of within n. Hence n needs to be a multiple of 4.
Statement 1:
We already know this. Insufficient.
Statement 2:
This has nothing to do with factors. Insufficient.
Combined:
Since statement 2 is useless, combined insufficient.
