Surrounded by mountains and deserts, Iran has seen the arrival and departure of many cultures, all of which have contributed many essential elements to Persian art.
A. has seen the arrival and departure of many cultures, all of which have contributed
B. has seen the arrival and departure of many cultures, all of which had contributed

D. had seen the arriving and departing of many cultures, each of which has contributed
E. has seen many cultures arrive and depart, each of which have contributed

C and D instant elimination had seen is not correct in this context
B also uses past perfect tense eliminated
we use past perfect tense for the earlier of two events in the past provided that two events are related to each other
And as per the meaning of the sentence Iran is still experiencing this effect so Present Perfect would make sense in this case
E next to eliminate since Each/Every + subject is always singular .So have contributed is wrong

A is the best answer of the lot
