Hi experts, just wanted to get some thoughts.
I understand that the online GMAT is to be used as a stand in for those that cannot take the GMAT due to COVID and NEED to take the GMAT. I was wondering if it would also be accepted for individuals applying in the future (next 2-3 years).
I had planned on taking the GMAT in July but don't plan on applying to B-school for another year or two. Right now I'm quarantined and in the zone and want to take the GMAT at peak performance (also nice that there won't be an AWA section). The next available option in my area is late august and I expect work to be a lot busier then due to some transitions I will be making so would much prefer to take it in July.
Basically I want to know if there is any chance at all that admissions will scrutinize my Online GMAT score because I took it Online vs. in-person since I am applying very far in the future (2021/2022 etc.) (Will they have preferred me to wait to take it normally since I had so much extra time to do so?) I have seen some rumors/comments that that it was implied that online GMAT would be viewed as less than or may not be accepted at all in future. I want to avoid having to retake it if at all possible!
Thanks in advance!!
