Well you have not provided enough information for a comprehensive reply.
For example, what is your target score?
What have you done to achieve that till date?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry 'bout the ambiguity. My target is a 680. I would feel much more comfortable with at least a 700 but high 600's would be enough to not dedicate additional time away from the rest of my applications. It's embarrassing to admit but my first practice test was a 580 after completing the 9 week MGMAT course. I made the mistake of not taking the practice tests during the course itself due to laziness and convincing myself that time would be better served reviewing problems instead. I am taking my second practice test today but I am not holding out much hope based on my practice question struggles.

I have only recently realized that taking those tests serves to zero in on problem areas. I feel this next month of study will be nakedly more efficient. Any suggestions are welcome since I have to reschedule by weeks end and the latest I can take the real test is the end of Oct. so I have a month for the first two schools' essays/apps.

There are many great posts in this forum regarding study plan, study materials etc. Read them, practice, practice, and practice.

As to your real GMAT, I would say take it and see what you get. The real exam is very similar to GMAT Prep. Even if your score was all over the map, be confident and take it.

Well, I got a 600 this time. Just slightly better on the quant. I am going to a 9 1/2 hour GMAT boot camp this Saturday to hopefully bump me up a little further last minute. I have decided to go forward with my scheduled official test in 1 1/2 weeks even though I am not close to my target. I suppose I'll only be out a couple hundo if/when I sign up for it again. Maybe the experience will relieve some stress for my second go around a month later.
