Pretz
Hi All,
I recently took
GMAT Club Tests and observed the below patterns:
Please see the attached image for the test results.
I am curious to know what I can really infer from these results.
The latest one which is Q43 had more number of questions incorrect however all those are 700 level but my score seems to be relatively higher.
Can you help deduce this detail further?
Hi
Pretz,
Low accuracy on Low Difficulty level questions does two things:
1. You get less number higher difficult level questions.
2. Lower Score: No wonder why algorithm/human/machine would consider someone a quant whiz if one cannot tackle lower difficulty level questions well.
GCT - 2: Low accuracy on 500 & 600 level questions gave you more number of such questions. you only got to attempt 13 700 level questions.
GCT - 4: you did well on 500 & 600 level questions, so you got 21 700 level question.
Here are points to remember that if you considering would help you score much better:
1. Try to get all lower difficulty level questions correct.
2. Your score will not hamper much if you mark few higher difficulty level questions.
3. Try not to get consecutive 3 questions wrong.
4. Try to get most of the questions correct in sets starting towards end. If one does not do well in first set then it is difficult to get better score.
5. A single question cannot keep you away from scoring high. so if that question comes in first 10 questions also, leave that question and go ahead without thinking about it.
GMAT algorithm is all about
DIFFICULTY level of questions not the
NUMBER of questions.
