Determination can help overcome all obstacles.
With the right support from Experts’ Global & GMAT Club, I was able to make it into a top 20 US B- school with scholarship.
I have a rather long journey about how I took more than one shot at the GMAT, worked through various business school applications and finally have three B-school admits. I will keep it short and crisp.
Having taken my GMAT and not scoring what I wanted (710 – a score that I consider strictly average as I belong to an overrepresented Asian country), I would be lying if I said that I was not disappointed. However, getting the right guidance, support and encouragement from Experts’ Global and reading success stories on GMAT Club, I saw a ray of hope and was determined to get into a school with a strong operations consulting post MBA profile.
I reached out to Experts' Global and they guided me in building my broad story for the MBA, giving me the right tips for the resume and overall helping me select which schools would fit my profile the best. Over various brainstorming sessions and indulging conversations with their team of experienced professionals, I submitted my application to a couple of business schools.
Tepper was the first school to reach out to me for an interview and I must admit that it is a great feeling to get an interview invite. Experts' Global was a great help as they made me prepare for the interview till the time I did not feel confident about myself. Moreover, none of the mocks had a repeat question, giving me a wider variety to prepare. The entire team has been super approachable and humble and I am great that I found them. Their guidance and support deserves a lot of credit for me having multiple admits today.
Lastly, the entire GMAT Club fraternity (right from the MBA Admissions Chat every Wednesday, all the profile evaluation threads, decision trackers and the plethora of preparation material available) has been of a great help and none of this would have been possible without all the support that I have got from GMAT Club.
Having an admit with a 40K scholarship from Tepper (one of my dream schools) – it definitely is a feeling of relief and I can’t wait to start this new phase of my life and eventually realize my long-term goal of leading strategy in a Fortune 500 firm.
