A week has 7 days so 7 weeks will have 49 days and 49th day will be Wednesday only, hence, 48th day will be Tuesday.

48/7 = 42/7 + 6/7 reminder
6th day of the week from the current deadline = Tuesday

The deadline for a project was originally Wednesday, September 15th. The deadline was then changed to 48 days later. What day of the week is the new deadline?
49 days=7 weeks .....(49th day will be Wednesday)
48 days =6 weeks and 6 days
Means 48th day will be Tuesday

B) Tuesday
